    As a Senior or Supervising Senior in our Fort Worth tax group, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:


    • Prepare & review multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts and related income tax work papers.
    • Prepare complex client work and delegate entry level work to staff accountants.
    • Take ownership and organize workflow of client engagements, ensuring filing and reporting deadlines are met.
    • Supervise and manage expectations of engagement teams, staff accountants and/or interns on your teams.
    • Responsible for meeting engagement timelines and budget guidelines, and provide job status to partners, managers, and client personnel in a timely manner.
    • Identify tax issues and propose strategies to resolve them.
    • Effectively and efficiently research technical tax issues.
    • Respond to and prepare correspondence for state tax authorities.
    • Develop strong relationships with firm professionals and clients.
    • Coach and provide feedback to junior team members.
    • Effectively utilize and train others on firm tax preparation software.
    • Participate in staff and senior level trainings.
    • Ensure high quality of work product.
    To be successful, these are the skills, qualities and experience you will need:


    • Minimum two years of relevant tax experience.
    • Experience with taxation of "flow-through" entities is preferred, private equity experience a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related major required.
    • Passed all or some sections of the CPA exam strongly preferred.
    • Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Proven experience in leading and supervising junior team members.


    This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

    A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000.
