    As a School Social Worker-Clinician with The Menta Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students
    Job Details:
    • Direct-Hire, Salaried position with benefits and paid benefit time off.
    • Hours 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., M-F, following a school calendar.
    • Only ONE of the following Licenses/Certifications is required:
    • Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate)
    • Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate)
    • MSW with LSW or LSW
    • LCSW
    • LCPC
    • LPC
    • LCP

    Responsibilities:
    • Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approaches
    • Build leadership to effectively help students succeed
    • Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions
    • Monitor and report student progress and complete evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
    • Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary at times

    Qualifications:
    • Only ONE of the following Licenses/Certifications: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate) MSW with LSW, LCSW, LCPC, LPC, LCP
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
    • Creative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
    • Excellent communication skills

    Menta Academy NorthMenta Academy North has recently opened a Sports Academy for grades The new curriculum incorporates athletic themes and content into the instruction of core subject areas to sustain educational engagement of each student. We have recently added a fully equipped weight room and two trainers with collegiate sports experience to benefit the health and physical aspects of our students. Eligible student/athletes will have the opportunity to play AAU sports on school teams in the evenings and on weekends, in addition to community and intramural sports activities. The coaching staff works to prepare students to complete at their highest level, thus providing opportunities for athletes to be seen by college recruiters and coaches.
    In addition to the Sports Academy, Menta Academy North offers educational services, starting at age 5, that meet both the developmental and individual learning needs of each student. Classrooms are designed to be active learning environments where young people have the opportunity to experience educational and behavioral success on a daily basis.
