    • Summer 2024Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in a 3 month paid intern opportunity at our site in San Diego.
    Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in engineering for a HealthTech company.

    Your roleWork in a fast-paced R&D environment as part of a cross-functional team that is working to design and develop Intravascular Ultrasound.

    Through this role you will gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering for a leading Health Tech company.

    Utilizing your skills in Electrical Engineering you will work closely with Analog, Digital, and/or Signal Processing Engineers in the Ultrasound Engineering teamContribute to test plans and perform testing, technical, and root cause analysis to verify design performance at sub-system and system level.

    Model and simulate designs for analysis and performanceYou are a part ofA global, cross-functional technical team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Intravascular Ultrasound products.

    You are a member of the Ultrasound Engineering team.

    You're the right fit ifCurrently enrolled in a program with at least three years of study towards a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer engineering, or equivalentPassionate about continuous learning & adapt to new technologies, methods, and approachesHigh ability to organize self and are willing to integrate into a team to achieve ambitious goals togetherFluent in English CommunicationKnowledge of state-of-the-art methods & tools (CAD/simulation) used in electrical designKnowledge of Digital Electronics, Analog circuits, Signal Processing and/or FPGA designYou must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office position.

    Philips Transparency DetailsThe hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 to $31.00, plus overtime eligible.

    The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
