State-of-the-ArtMD/OD practice seeking an Optometrist in Wasilla, AK

A MD/OD private practice, is seeking an optometrist to provide full-scope comprehensive care. This clinic provides a high pathology, patient care environment.

Key highlights of the practice:

• OCTA, Retinal Camera, Visual Field
• Scribe and a Tech provided
• World-class/modern/independent eye care facility
• Full-scope practice
• No nights/weekends/satellites
• Great work-life balance

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD):

• Diagnose ocular disease and vision disorders
• Contact Lens & Specialty Lens Fittings
• Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examination
• Up to 25 patients a day
• Work Monday Friday NO Weekends
• Counsel patients regarding their vision needs

Benefits for the Optometrist (OD) position:

• Compensation based upon experience + $10K signing/relocation bonus + Year-end bonus
• 80% of Health Insurance paid, Dental, Malpractice Insurance, CE, 3 weeks PTO first year, Holidays 401-k
• W-2 Employee

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD):

• Doctorate of Optometry degree (OD)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
