- In charge of all quality control inspections on aircraft/components in the Repair Station.
- Inspects aircraft, engine, and component repairs to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
- Coordinates mechanical, electrical, and inspection tasks during maintenance procedures.
- Maintains accurate and organized records of all work performed.
- Collaborates with relevant teams to ensure timely completion of aircraft records.
- Audits maintenance documentation to verify accuracy before approving aircraft for service.
- Verifies airworthiness of aircraft/components before any flight operations.
- Provides guidance to technicians on effective documentation practices.
- Conducts research on Aircraft Log Books and maintenance programs to track inspection programs and compliance.
- Monitors repair station compliance with aviation regulations and Quality Control Manual.
- Assists in training Airworthiness Inspectors, promoting a culture of high-quality standards.
- Guides subordinate mechanics/technicians in troubleshooting procedures.
- Signs FAA Statement of conformity for completed projects.
- May engage in ODA functions as needed.
- Supports aircraft certification, including flight testing as required.
- Proficient in Federal Aviation Regulations and related documents.
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting Maintenance Manuals and test specifications.
- Understanding of FAA certification processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective task prioritization abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and minimum typing speed of 20 WPM.
- Fluency in English language, both written and spoken.
