    Tax Manager
    • Remote/HybridThe tax manager will lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and deliver quality tax services to clients.
    They will serve as a business advisor to clients, working to maximize engagement and achieve qualitative outcomes.

    The tax manager will perform tax services in compliance with laws and regulations, build relationships with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise, and manage innovative tax planning programs.

    They will review complex income tax returns, identify all tax risks, manage the tax provision and compliance process, suggest innovative solutions for process improvement using best practices, manage and coordinate tax audits, and manage and track tax balances on the general ledger.

    The tax manager will prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests.
    ResponsibilitiesDeliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframeBuild relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertiseProvide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returnsIdentify and mitigate tax risksCoordinate accounting staff and assess their performanceManage tax provision and tax compliance processImprove processes by developing or implementing best practicesManage and coordinate tax auditsMaintain tax balances on the general ledgerPrepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requestsRequirementsBachelors degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business, or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) licenseProven experience as a tax manager, public accountant, or similar roleExcellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returnsProven work experience in delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframeStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects efficientlyKnowledge of tax software and MS OfficeAbility to identify opportunities to grow the companys client baseWhat's in it for you?$100K - $130K + (DOE on Experience)Full Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision401K + MatchYearly performance bonusPTO#J-18808-Ljbffr
