    Role Summary:


    This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at EMF Engineered Components, LLC in Merritt Island, FL.The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company's presence in the space industry.

    This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships and leading negotiations to secure contracts.


    Essential Responsibilities:

    Market Analysis:
    Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of the space industry to identify market trends, potential clients, and competitive landscapes.

    Business Strategy:
    Develop and implement strategic business development plans to capitalize on new opportunities and achieve revenue targets.

    Lead Generation:
    Generate leads and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private companies, and international partners.

    Proposal Development:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.

    Contract Negotiation:
    Lead negotiations with clients to secure new contracts, partnerships, and collaborations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.

    Relationship Management:


    Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners, serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing business interactions.


    Pipeline Management:
    Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking progress, identifying potential roadblocks, and implementing strategies to drive continuous growth.

    Market Expansion:
    Identify opportunities for market expansion and diversification, exploring new verticals, geographic regions, and strategic partnerships.

    Industry Networking:
    Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand and forge new connections.

    Reporting and Analysis:
    Prepare regular reports and analyses to track key performance metrics, evaluate business development efforts, and identify areas for improvement.
    Willingness to travel as needed.
    Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    10+ years of experience working with government agencies, aerospace contractors, or space industry companies.
    Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the space industry.
    Established network of contacts within the space industry.
    Deep understanding of space technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
    Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
