Seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our dynamic psychiatric department in Hopkinsville, KY. This role offers a balance of on-site work and tele-psychiatry flexibility.

Salary: $350,000 - $400,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to 16 inpatients daily.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Maintain documentation according to contemporary medical and legal standards.
• Offer weekend call availability with additional compensation.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development activities to stay current with the latest practices in psychiatry.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• MD or DO with completion of accredited psychiatry residency.
• Valid and active medical license in the state of Kentucky or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
• Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
• Strong clinical skills and experience in an inpatient setting.
• Demonstrable experience with electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with patients and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with tele-psychiatry platforms.
• Ability to lead a team or experience in a leadership role within a psychiatric unit.
• Additional certification in a subspecialty area of psychiatry.
• Prior experience in a high-volume inpatient facility.
• Knowledge of or experience in integrated behavioral health services.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
