:Gen eral Description : Under the general direction of the clinical pharmacist and AVP of Clinical Pharmacy, the pharmacy benefits navigator is responsible for overcoming all barriers to drug access for OU Health patients including: prior authorization, copay assistance, facilitation of delivery. A pharmacy benefits navigator is typically an experienced retail pharmacy technician who understands the need for a highly personalized service.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Current Oklahoma licensed technician permit preferred. National certification preferred. Four years pharmacy experience preferred.
Experience : None. This position allows for on-the-job training.
Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required : Active permit as a Pharmacy Technician by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or ability to achieve permit within 90 days of employment.
BLS certification and Immunization Administration Certificate preferred. If technician holds an Immunization Administration Certification, BLS certification will be required.
