    Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional support to the Chief Performance Officer (CPO) & staff of Strategic Planning and Researchteam and Div of Innovation by preparing Department Purchase Requests (DPR), travel vouchers, print requests,maintaining electronic and hard copy files & all other required paperwork.
  • Draft correspondence, memorandums,reports or other responses that require the interpretation & application of policies & procedures
  • Organize & monitor procedural work. Organize Local School Board Member Advisory meetings & direct reportmeetings.
  • Assist in organizing Kentucky United We Learn Council convenings and special meetings.
  • Manageprocedural work for Commissioner's Advisory Groups and State Mandated Advisory Groups.
  • Make travelarrangements for the CPO & division director including completion of travel reimbursements, state park inter-account forms, out of state authorizations, etc.
  • Coordinate all necessary arrangements for meetings &/or trainings including arrangements for hotel during sitevisits, set up hotel contracts, order handouts, audio/video & registration of attendance.
  • Prepare agendas,meeting materials, workshops & conferences for the Strategic Planning & Research team & Division ofInnovation.
  • Manage budget & budgetary matters.
  • Maintain inventory of all items valued over $500. Other dutiesas assigned.
  • Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
    Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
    Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
