Directs plans and organizes the staff and activities of the institutional review board IRB Provides day-to-day operational oversight of the Research Intelligence Institutional Review Board IRB This individual oversees the research protocol submission and review process Oversees work of IRB Analysts and IRB coordinators ensuring consistency of IRB minutes review communication practices The Director serves as primary point contact for study team leadership well as all relying site investigators Facilitates timely reliable consistent ethical reviews Generates reports to federal agencies needed
Leads an Institutional Review Board group by communicating with developing staff members building consensus for programs goals that support a business function or geographic area Develops articulates short-term strategic vision for areas responsibility Oversees reviews new continuing research programs ensure compliance with standards policies Evaluates recommends improvement efficiencies regarding operational procedures policies Oversee computerized information systems resources Advises Investigators other research staff appropriate conduct preparation protocol consent documents applicable regulations reporting requirements human subject research Prepares reports federal state agencies decisions issues regulated
