Job DescriptionDescription:
The Lead Installation Technician is responsible for reading and interpreting Mechanical and Automatic
Temperature Control Drawings and overseeing and directing assigned projects and FES team members.
Candidate will ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Provide direction and leadership to assigned FES team members as well as subcontractors
· Participate in project preplanning process
· Lead the execution of assigned projects
· Identify customer issues/ concerns, escalate accordingly to ensure problem resolution
· Coordinate work with other trades
· Run control wire per industry standard
· Install conduit and fittings per industry standard
· Mount and terminate controllers, sensors, and end devices
· Troubleshoot wiring and terminations of field-installed equipment with test instruments
· Day or night shifts depending on the project schedule
· Mentor Junior level installation technicians
Technical Skills:
· Minimum of 3 year's experience in the installation of Building Controls and Automation
