    Summary:


    This position is primarily responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures by performing the following duties.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    compliance with U.S. GAAP
    and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts for Corporate and Subsidiary companies
    and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
    financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
    all financial reporting deadlines are met
    financial management reports
    accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closes are completed and work with subsidiary companies to ensure compliance
    the local reporting packages submitted by the subsidiary companies, provide feedback and ensure appropriate changes are completed
    commentary for the consolidated entities for review by the Corporate Controller, VP Finance and CFO
    subsidiary companies with questions and resolve issues
    general ledger accounts and review accounts for accuracy for subsidiary companies
    required journal entries in accordance with properly executed schedules
    monthly closing schedules for benefits, payroll, debt and prepaids for the Corporate ledger
    the intercompany process with subsidiary Companies
    accounting discrepancies and irregularities
    and supports taxation issues
    audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
    accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses by means of reviewing key calculations and accruals at subsidiary companies
    and analyzes on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenues
    financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
    other duties as assigned.
    Sales Tax on a monthly basis

    Education / Experience:


    Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting; 6+ years of related experience; Public Accounting experience required; CPA desired.


    Computer Skills:


    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting Software (Sage Intacct preferred); Payroll Systems (ADP Workforce Now); Spreadsheet Software (Excel) intermediate/high level; Word Processing Software (Word); Presentation Software (PowerPoint); Visio Proprietary Software.
