Job summary
The City of Fishers is seeking a full-time Foreman for the Asphalt team within the Department of Public Works Streets Division. This position has continuous oversight for senior laborers, laborers, and part-time positions.This job requires evening, weekend and on-call work.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily tasks assigned to work crews
- Create innovative solutions to difficult challenges. Ensure efficiency and quality work.Covers all aspects related to asphalt infrastructure maintenance including paving curb repair sidewalk repairs mowing landscaping rights-of-way replace/repair signage snow ice control trash cleanup inspection management supervision planning budgeting scheduling prioritization logistics quality control monitoring roadway safety compliance enforcement performance evaluation reporting coordination training equipment operation maintenance record keeping communication customer service public relations community outreach
Other duties include identifying possible capital improvement needs.
