    BrandStar, a dynamic media and marketing company located in Deerfield Beach, is seeking candidates for an Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our corporate team. This person acts as the first point of contact for all visitors and plays an integral role in embodying the corporate philosophy of positively impacting people's lives. Duties must be performed in a friendly, professional manner while executing all administrative tasks to the highest standards.

    OVERVIEW OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Greet and welcome guests in a warm, positive manner upon arrival.
    • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and/or location.
    • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner.
    • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
    • Maintain inventory of office and kitchen supplies. Stock items daily as needed.
    • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
    • Create mail/shipping labels and prepare mail/packages for out-bound delivery.
    • Inventory products received for upcoming production shoots.
    • Create and display welcome signs for incoming clients.
    • Assist in the organization of large meetings and events (i.e., client and employee meetings).
    • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven work experience in an administrative or receptionist position
    • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers, scanners, etc.)
    • Professional attitude and appearance
    • High degree of integrity and confidentiality
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
    • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
    • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
    • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Proficiency in MS Office/Office 365
