    Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Database Administrator to join our team to support our clients. The successful applicant needs to have extensive working knowledge of a wide variety of tasks related to MS SQL administration.

    Job Responsibilities

    As a SQL Database Administrator, you will:

    • L3 escalation support for MS SQL Server production issues
    • SQL Server install, configuration, patching, and upgrades
    • Performance tuning, query optimization, and root cause analysis
    • Support HA/DR solutions (Always On, Clustering, Log Shipping)
    • Backup, restore, and disaster recovery support
    • Database security, compliance, and operational documentation
    • Will be part of a larger Operations Team to support IT Service Management and Cyber tasks 

    Required Qualifications:

    • U.S. Citizenship is required.
    • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
    • 5+ years MS SQL Server DBA experience
    • Strong T SQL, performance tuning, and HA/DR expertise
    • Experience in 24x7 mission critical production environments 

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Previous Defense Industrial Base experience
    • Previous DoD experience
    • Experience with CMMC

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 80k-120k.

    This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. xhuatnn
