- Manage family requests in conjunction with key stakeholders, in matters that relate to the family's personal needs and charitable foundations or giving. These family request may include but are not limited to credit card activity review and reporting, money movement, personal identity issues, bank account activity recordkeeping (QuickBooks), tuition payments, life insurance or other specific family related needs and requests. All activities must be executed in a timely, discreet, and comprehensive manner to ensure the desired outcomes.
- Prepare quarterly and monthly financial reports for key stakeholders, including reports for the foundations, License Plate Program and various special fundraising events that are conducted including the tax letters for these events.
- Prepare the Kraft Family Annual Endowment Report. Gift Reporting and research of tax-exempt status of potential gift recipients. Process contributions of publicly traded stock to outside charities for family members.
- Manage weekly checks runs and online bill payments for family as needed.
- Prepare the tax return work papers for charitable foundations and work with Ernst & Young on the preparation of the actual tax returns. Assist tax department with the quarterly estimated tax payments for individuals and trusts.
- Prepare wires for capital calls for family investment vehicles.
- Preparation of periodic invoices, conflict of interest statements and other reporting needs related to external board responsibilities.
- Work as an intermediary with various family household staff so that all invoices are reviewed and paid. Process weekly property staff payroll.
- Assist internal investment staff on review of quarterly reports prepared by outside investment professionals.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA.
- Discretion and Confidentiality is critical.
- Bachelor's Degree, Accounting
- 0-3 years of accounting related experience
- Familiarity with Financial Statement presentation and basic GAAP fundamentals Strong computer literacy with proficient use of Microsoft Excel is required Experience with QuickBooks a plus
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects to meet designated deadlines require
- Highly organized, productive and detail oriented
