    Role Summary

    :

    The Commercial Project Development Analyst will assume support multiple projects as part of the growing Electrify Commercial program. This role will act as a source of expertise within the team on engineering, design and architectural elements consistent with Electrify America standards.

    The role will project oversee a number of vendors and contractors across multiple complex projects.Involvement in projects will begin during the RFI/RFP phase and continue through project due diligence, design and engineering, permitting, procurement, construction and commission of high-speed EV charging equipment, and other commercial EV charging products and services.

    Responsibilities will include support of Commercial Program Leads and Manager, partners and vendors, coordinating site design and development, coordinating with utilities, municipalities and other project stakeholders, project managing construction and tracking and reporting progress.The role will regularly interact with the Sales and Incentives on new business development initiatives.They will coordinate operations field team members, ensuring adherence to high-quality construction standards and related processes. Identify and maintain strong relationships with numerous construction management firms, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure the new venture services group is leveraging the best construction talent available to achieve its long-term goals.

    The role will use a comprehensive online project management platform to accurately forecast and create/manage project schedules, monitor key milestones, manage daily project tasks, collect and evaluate documentation and daily reports, order delivery of equipment, process change orders, submittals and RFI's as well as control project costs. The role will also act as a source of expertise within the team on engineering, design and architectural standards for all Electrify Commercial projects.

    Role Responsibilities:

  • Supports all aspects of project management, planning and coordination of charging implementation plan. Organizes and monitors a large number of inter-connected installation and construction projects from initial due diligence through completion and commissioning. (30%)
  • Understands RFI/RFP and client requirements and supports development and oversight of site design and architectural standards, ensuring adherence to client and Electrify America national standards, conformity with local jurisdictional requirements and QAQC of internal and external design review. (15%)
  • Coordinates with Program Leads, Program Manager, vendors, services providers and contractors across various regions, ensuring adherence to program milestones, budget controls, productivity and quality standards (10%)
  • Travels to conduct field site assessments of individual properties, oversees vendor progress, meets with local stakeholders, and documents evidence of project progress and quality control (10%)
  • Assesses and tracks program performance via managing and updating tools, software and processes to ensure effective project management at all stages of program design, implementation and evaluation (10%)
  • Develops and prepares regular forecasts, budgets, work schedules, and implementation plans to Electrify Commercial and/or Electrify America management for approval (5%)
  • Identifies potential bottlenecks in project execution and elevate to senior management for resolution. Develops guidelines and best practice to share across, and primary vendors to accelerate future implementation activities (5%)
  • Works closely with Account Managers and Sales Leads to develop budgets, schedules, and meeting agendas to present to customers. Interface with commercial customers on pitch calls and project status updates (5%)
  • Assumes responsibility for all project close-out documentation from vendors and suppliers, review and track all QAQC requirements prior to vendor payment approval. Works closely with EA controllers to ensure alignment with auditing and accounting policies. Benchmarks project costs across vendors and regions to identify cost efficiency opportunities. (5%)
  • As needed, supports Electrify Commercial sales and business development activities such as participating in pitch calls, attending events, conferences and other sales forums (5%)
  • Qualifications

    Years of Relevant Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Education (Required):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Education (Desired):

  • Certification of competency in Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint or similar software
  • Project Management Professional certifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in land development project management
  • Proven experience as a program/project manager
  • Experienced in the engineering, design and architectural review of construction projects
  • Demonstrated record of precision & integrity in past work assignments
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction management
  • Experience managing vendors and subcontractors
  • Experience reading and writing vendor contracts
  • Excellent understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • High attention to detail

  • Knowledge and Understanding of how to readconstruction and engineering plans
  • Experience with direct customer interface
  • Specialized Skills (Desired):

  • Experience in site civil engineering, electrical engineering design, EV infrastructure construction management, electric vehicle and energy storage project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of program/project management software
  • Construction Estimator Experience
  • Experience working with utility partners on construction projects
  • Experience with reviewing RFI/RFP documents and ability to provide support documents for response to clients
  • Work Flexibility:

  • Up to 50% travel required

    Salary range is dependent on factors such as geographical differentials, industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications.

    In the state of California, the salary range is $82,400 - $107,000.

    In the state of Colorado, the salary range is $82,400 - $107,000.

    In the state of Washington, the salary range is $82,400 - $107,000.

    In New York City, the salary range is $98,900 - $128,400.

    In Westchester County, the salary range is $98,900 - $128,400.

    In the state of Rhode Island, the salary range is $82,400 - $107,000.
