Our founders, Shachar (ex-Palo Alto Networks, AWS, Demisto) and Dan (ex-Abnormal Security, Twitter) have previously built, launched, and scalee cybersecurity products loved and trusted by tens of thousands of customers, and have the customer, technology, and security know-hows to deliver this vision.
Our exceptionally strong founding team includes software engineers, AI researchers, security engineers, and product designers hailing from Google, Abnormal AI, Wiz, Meta, AWS, and SentinelOne.
We are growing our team and looking for passionate builders to join us and support our expanding customer base.
Job Overview
We're looking for a Founding Recruiter to build our recruiting function from the ground up. This is not a "take requirements and run ATS screens" type of role. You will architect and execute the entire recruiting engine, owning sourcing, messaging, screening, closing, and process design across both technical and non-technical roles.
You will partner directly with the founders and early leadership to define what "world-class talent" means at Artemis and ensure we consistently land the people who raise the bar.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the earliest stage and directly influence the DNA of the company.
Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and non-technical roles: sourcing, outreach, screening, scheduling, stakeholder alignment, and closing.
Proactively source and engage top-tier talent to build our early team.
Craft compelling narratives and recruiting collateral that position Artemis as a top-tier destination for elite builders.
Partner with founders to define hiring priorities, design interview loops, and ensure tight feedback cycles.
Develop strong talent intelligence: market mapping, competitor analysis, and pipeline forecasting.
Build the early talent brand through events, communities, and outbound campaigns.
Qualifications
3-6 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiting IC. Startup exposure strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to own the entire funnel independently - sourcing through closing with measurable output.
Comfortable recruiting across functions; background in technical recruiting is especially valuable.
Proven track record of hiring in environments with limited resources (no large team, no brand recognition, no corporate perks to lean on).
Strong sourcing skills - creative, persistent, and data-driven.
Exceptional judgment in evaluating talent; able to distinguish between "competent" and "exceptional."
Bonus: experience recruiting for cybersecurity, AI/ML, and technical roles.

Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation of $120,000 - $190,000 per year, and a top-of-market equity component. A variety of factors are considered when determining the compensation, including a candidate's professional experience. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed.
