Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- A valid clean CDL Class A
- A valid DOT Medical Certification
- 3+ years' experience operating a Tractor/Trailer/Moffet and/or Flatbed-Boom Truck Flatbed-Boom in the Tri State area.
- Good basic math skills
- Ability to pass Random Drug Testing
- Touch freight-may need to lift, push or move product weighting an average of 40-60 pounds.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Flexibility – overtime as required and half day Saturday during busy season.
- No preventable accident that resulted in injury or death in the last three years.
- No DWI or DUI in the last five years.
- No positive results to the Drug and Alcohol testing requirements of 49 CFR Part 40.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality product to the customer in efficient, timely and professional manner.
- Work within all DOT safety procedures including electronic daily DVIR Logs.
- Complete delivery ticket with necessary information.
Summary:
Drivers will be responsible for the safe operation of company trucks, including loading,
unloading and cleaning.

TRACTOR/TRAILER DRIVERS
IMMEDIATE opening for experienced Tractor/Trailer Drivers
We are looking for experienced Tractor/Trailer Drivers that exhibit the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The right candidate must be dependable and motivated.
Pay is commensurate with experience for the ideal candidate.
We service the Tri-state area. This includes the counties that surround Dutchess County; Rockland, Orange, Westchester and Putnam. We also service the 3 most northwest counties of NJ. Lastly, a majority of our deliveries are to NYC and the surrounding boroughs.
Drivers are paid by the hour and not by the load). There are no commissions paid for stops. The minimum expectation is 2 loads per day and ideally 3.
NYC experience is helpful and valued, but not a requirement. We have numerous local deliveries and transfer of materials. Inclusion into Union Local 445 is mandatory after 90 days. Starting hours will depend on business needs. Local deliveries will be at a 6a.m start.
