Job summary
This position assists elderly citizens with transportation needs.The Senior Services Transit Aide I performs as a trainee in the Assisted Transportation Program; receives training and orientation in driver routes, client localities, conditions, and needs;
Contacts all clients to confirm transportation reservations;
Provides physical support for elderly by opening doors from home to car or medical facilities,
Interprets and/or assists elderly in communicating what has been said.
