- Assist in the preparation and timely filing of U.S. federal, state, and local corporate income and franchise tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of U.S. federal, state and local corporate income and franchise tax return extensions.
- Assist in computing quarterly U.S. federal and state estimated tax payments; ensuring estimates are processed, paid and documented properly.
- Manage and reconcile tax fixed asset records to ensure they are accurate, and reports are available to support federal, state and local income tax compliance.
- Participate in the quarterly and year-end tax provision process
- Assist in tax compliance and system process improvements
- Assist tax department with special projects as needed such as tax research, tax audits, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or comparable education
- CPA certification and/or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in progressively responsible positions in a corporate tax department, public accounting firm or comparable experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Ability to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information and direction effectively
- Ability to demonstrate adequate job knowledge to deliver a world class performance
- Ability to challenge oneself to consistently meet all goals and deadlines
- Ability to perform effectively in a deadline-oriented environment, with minimal supervision and high attention to details.
- Willingness to strive for excellence by producing work that is free of errors and mistakes
- Desire to bring positive engagement with coworkers by offering encouragement, fostering teamwork and addressing conflict appropriately
- Commitment to making improvements company wide
- Demonstrated competence using Microsoft Office

- Strong knowledge of Federal and state tax laws
- Comprehensive understanding of tax software and technology - experience with CorpTax is a plus
- Occasional travel to other sites (2-4 weeks per year).
