Responsibilities

The role of the Registered Nurse encompasses professional nursing practice, including patient care and supervision of assigned staff. Compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations is essential to uphold patient safety.

Qualifications

Requirements for the Job:

Essential: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Active NM Nursing license or NM compact license (to be obtained within 90 days of hire) and BLS certification;
The department making the hire may also request ACLS and/or PAL certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Additionally Preferred: Two (2) years experience in a specialized area along with Two (2) years of general nursing experience.
