ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips.

We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the worlds leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.

Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

We are seeking a highly-motivated EH&S (Environmental, Health, & Safety) Manager to join our team.

This role will support multiple EHS main topics (incident management, compliance management, safety risk management & improvement projects, culture & training) by creating processes, standards and reporting mechanisms with impact beyond own sector and by setting EHS targets within own sector or on corporate level.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

Management of cluster EHS program (multiple sites): Ensure customer fab safety compliance audits in place, drive leadership engagement at multiple levels, act as customer single point of contact, deliver instructor-led Life Saving Rules training, and establish key safety focus areas.

Manage and develop cluster EHS team.

Monitor and interpret EHS-related documentation, including but not limited to: safety indicators (leading/lagging), incident logs (near miss/good catch, injury, and environment), training completion, and leadership safety observations.

Perform incident investigations to ensure actions are put in place to prevent further occurrence: Facilitate incident reviews, risk rank incidents, follow-up with operational line management.

Use indicator analysis to outline key focus areas and goals for multiple sites.

Manage ISO 45001 compliance items and perform on-site audits routinely to verify conformances.

Provide sustaining support for the field operations team (safety review board support, permit to work reviews, provide instructor-led training in field offices).

Create high quality impactful presentations and effectively distribute and deliver to multiple levels of operations team.

Perform in-fab GEMBA walks (behavioral safety observations) in partnership with operations leadership.

Partner, collaborate, and communicate with customer on safety program initiatives.

Be a key influencer to improve overall safety culture in partnership with leadership team(s).

    Perform other duties as assigned.
