    How You Will Make A Difference

    The Field Clinical Specialist will assist the sales team by providing technical, educational, and procedural support to medical professionals related to the use of therapeutic devices and technology in gastroenterology, pulmonology and related departments. Responsible for supporting new and existing Customers through procedural case support and staff in-service education.

    This is a remote based customer facing position. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of one of the following state/cities: Austin, TX areas or live by a major Airport. Will cover the Southwest Region" Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi & Oklahoma"

    What Will You Do

    Procedural / Education Support

    • Represent STERIS Endoscopy during procedural cases by assuring all necessary equipment and products are prepped and ready for the procedure.
    • Provide on-site support related to the use of the STERIS Endoscopy devices and equipment (especially where there are new users of our products)
    • Educate and train, monitor and evaluate hospital personnel (excluding physicians) on technical matters relating to our products and equipment.
    • Provide clinical education to current and future Customers, providing relevant new data.
    • Conduct one-on-one training sessions, in-service educational programs and simulations.
    • Participate in hands-on events on an as needed basis.
      Sales Support
    • Complete necessary documentation post case by logging observed case specifics, interactions and other pertinent information and provide a summary to the Product Specialist, Regional Sales Manager, direct manager and Product Manager on a regular basis or enter into company CRM.
    • Follow up and follow through with Customers on post case information/training needs, utilizing internal connections to find and answer concerns.
    • Report complaints in compliance with STERIS policies and procedures
    • Before, during and following cases, refer any additional contact information regarding potential new Customers to the appropriate Product Specialist
    • Develop relationship with all applicable Customer departments and provide warm lead to appropriate Product Specialist
    • Assignments include occasional attendance and national and regional conferences where hands-on support may be needed
    What You Need To Be Successful
    • Bachelor's degree preferred in Healthcare, Life Sciences or related discipline; will consider LPN, GI Technicians with 10 plus year of experience in GI space.
    • Minimum of 7 years practical experience working in hospital operating room and/or surgery center
    • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder

      Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirement

    Pay for this opportunity is $100, This position is eligible for annual bonus.

    Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
