We are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer 4. 100% onsite in Everett or Renton, WA.Job Description:
Leads development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system design. Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish product environment.
Guides product design and verifies structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution, and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems meet requirements. Defines and documents certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies. Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements. Develop analytical processes/tools to improve development effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering. Minimum 12 years experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with Fatigue, Damage Tolerance, and/or Finite Element Analysis.
Experience with Boeing Stress Analysis tools:
FEADMS, IAS, SA, MossDuberg. Experience navigating CATIA, PDM/ENOVIA. Stress Analysis review and integration experience with suppliers and global partners.
Systems Structures:
Flight controls, Mechanical Hydraulics, High lift, Electrical, and/or ECS system installation stress analysis experience
Propulsion Structures:
experience qualifying supplier equipment, stress analysis on transport elements (tubes, ducts, hydraulic lines, fuel lines, wires), and Hydro-mechanical actuators.
