    We are searching for a Project Engineer for our client in Muncy PA to be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects related to the fabrication and production of sheet metal components.

    Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including customers, design engineers, production managers, and quality assurance personnel, to ensure the successful execution of projects within specified timelines and budget constraints.

    Your expertise in bulk material handling processes and engineering principles is a mustYou will:

    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
    • Identify resource requirements and allocate them efficiently to ensure project milestones are achieved.
    • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
    • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Collaborate with production teams to develop innovative solutions for complex manufacturing challenges.
    • Evaluate and select suppliers/vendors for materials, equipment, and services.
    • Maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers/vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
    • Collaborate with design engineers to optimize sheet metal and precision machined component designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
    • Work closely with production managers to schedule and prioritize manufacturing tasks in alignment with project deadlines.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues.
    • Generate project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
    • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for management review.
    • Maintain accurate records of project expenses, resource utilization, and performance metrics.
    • Review and ensure customer specifications are being met for each project
    • Perform field commissioning/troubleshooting/technical support for supplied equipment.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, multi-taskYou will have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience in sheet metal manufacturing processes, including cutting, bending, forming, and welding., and bulk material handling processes.
    • Strong knowledge of 3DCAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for designing and modeling sheet metal components.
    • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality management systems.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Experience with ERP systems and project management software is a m ust.
