    Summary:
    We currently have an opening for a Capture Manager in our Global Services Design Team. The location of this position is flexible for the right candidate.

    Our core business hub is in Marlborough, MA.Tetra Tech provides architecture and engineering services in support of US Government agencies such as USAID, MCC and deployed U.S.

    Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel, as well as allied foreign government agencies.

    Our engineers and architects deliver facility and utility planning, design, and construction phase services around the world, including remote locations.

    From buildings and utilities to airfield and waterfront facilities, Tetra Tech's multidisciplinary expertise covers the wide range of AE services required to support US Federal projects around the globe.

    International development projects have included feasibility studies, design, retrofitting, and construction of housing for displaced populations, roads, energy solutions, health care facilities, grade schools and universities, water and wastewater infrastructure, wastewater reuse, and disaster relief services.


    Your Role:


    Reports to Vice President of Business DevelopmentLead, organize, and manage overall capture process - with ultimate responsibility to drive the capture of new businessIdentify and qualify potential opportunities for future market growth and work with the team to prepare and implement strategic initiativesMeet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

    Identify and evaluate new markets and partnership opportunities through direct prospecting, networking, attendance and participation with various industry and professional groups and networking associations.

    Assemble and work with Capture Team to better define and position for the selected opportunity, and identify priority areas (SWOT analysis) to be addressed and develop proposal win strategies and tactical sales plans.

    Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize all teaming arrangements; vet new partners; draft recruiting job descriptions, review candidate matrix, and select candidates.

    • RFP release by leading the development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), implementation work plan, technical approach, and management plan; engage Lead Technical Representative (LTR) input as appropriateWork with the Pricing Manager to develop pricing strategies and price proposals.

    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, or related fieldMaster's degree in Business Administration, or related field is preferred10 to 15 years of business development experience in related field including direct experience in developing capture and proposal plansExperience working with Federal Government contracts including SF330 proposalsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional grammar and proofreading abilitiesExceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is requiredUS Citizenship or Permanent Residence Card is requiredAbility to pass background screening including criminal history, credit checkProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to drive on an occasional basis for business purposes preferred.

    In order to do this, you will need a valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check, and maintain a safe driving record.

    The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000.
