Key Responsibilities

In this Intellectual Property - Trademark/Copyright - Litigation Attorney role, you will:

• Represent clients in trademark and copyright litigation matters, including enforcement and defense actions

• Conduct advanced legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and litigation strategy memoranda

• Support case management from early assessment through discovery, motion practice, and resolution

• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex matters involving multiple stakeholders

• Advise clients on trademark and copyright risk, clearance, enforcement strategy, and dispute avoidance

• Help prepare for hearings, depositions, and key litigation milestones

• Work with client teams to gather facts, analyze evidence, and develop compelling arguments

• Contribute to litigation strategy in matters involving evolving digital content, brand use, and licensing issues

• Where applicable, assist with related disputes involving patent, platform liability, or privacy issues

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will typically have:

• 3–5 years of litigation experience focused on trademark and/or copyright disputes

• Admission to practice in New York or California (State Bar required)

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with polished work product

• Excellent academic credentials and strong attention to detail

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines

• Experience in patent litigation, platform liability, or privacy litigation is a plus

• Experience at a national law firm preferred

• JD from an accredited law school
