    Job Description for VP of Construction


    The Vice President of Construction will lead the development and execution of mission-critical data center projects across the U.S., managing both internal teams and third-party general contractors. This role is responsible for ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability across a diverse portfolio.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee full-cycle construction delivery for ground-up, brownfield, and fit-out data center projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
    • Lead and mentor construction teams, providing strategic direction and fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Manage project planning and execution, optimizing resources and ensuring timely delivery within budget.
    • Develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships, including design teams, contractors, and vendors.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards across all projects.
    • Drive continuous improvement, implementing innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 8+ years of construction management experience
    • Proven experience in Owner's Representation and/or Design-Build
    • General Contracting and Data Center project experience required

    Skills & Competencies

    • Proficiency in Procore, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure
    • Willingness to travel frequently
