    We have openings at eight facilities: Belton Regional Medical Center, Centerpoint Medical Center, Lafayette Regional Health Center, Lee's Summit Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Research Medical Center, and Research Psychiatric Center.

    • Float Pool

    We offer a sign-on bonus of $10K to $30K for eligible candidates working FT night shifts on Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Cardiac & Progressive Care Units.

    A $5,000 relocation bonus is available for those more than 50 miles from our hospitals.

    HCA Nurse Residency Program

    This year-long program provides hands-on experience, clinical and critical thinking skills, and a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents.

    Nurse Residency Program Details

    This paid program includes:

    • Advanced clinical training in a specialty area
    • Monthly educational sessions
    • Preceptorship training with a facility preceptor
    • Measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations
    • Mentoring from experienced nurse leaders
    • Working collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project

    Cohort Start Dates

    Available every two weeks in 2025, with additional start dates in February and July for OR Surgery.

    Job Summary

    The HCA Nurse Residency Program helps you transition from student nurse to registered nurse with comprehensive training, mentorship, and support.

    Your Role

    You will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing models and the scope and standards of practice for your state and specialty.

    As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will assess patient condition, perform procedures, document care, administer medications, teach patients and families, and advocate for their needs.

    Qualifications

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of employment
    • No previous experience needed, but some travel may be required for training
    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
