    Job Title: Accounting Specialist

    Location: In-Office - on site 5 days a week in East Falls, PA

    Salary: $50-65K

    LHH is in search for an Accounting Specialist to join the dynamic team of one of our clients in East Falls, PA. In this role, you will be a key player in our business operations, handling payroll via ADP, managing vendor payables, invoicing customers, and assisting with the month-end close process. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with experience in payroll and human resources, and a strong desire to learn accounting. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will interact across the entire organization, as well as with customers and vendors. Thrive in both collaborative and solo tasks in this full-time, in-office position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Human Resources/Payroll:

    • Process payroll for 50+ employees weekly in ADP, including managing timecards, vacations, and PTO.
    • Manage timecards and relationships with Temp Agencies.
    • Maintain employee files, process new-hire paperwork (including I-9 and benefit set-up), and track vacation and benefit schedules.

    Accounting/Month-End Close:

    • Handle accounts payable processing by matching invoices, packing lists, and purchase orders.
    • Prepare and verify customer invoices, ensuring data accuracy from customer POs.
    • Maintain sales commissions schedules and related accruals.
    • Track dealer sales and related programs.
    • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training in payroll, human resources, accounting, and accounts payable.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow processes.
    • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) – two assessments will be required prior to the in-person interview.
    • Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software is preferred.
    • Excellent time management and creative problem-solving skills.
    • Inquisitive nature with excellent communication and analytical skills.
    • Desire to work in a team environment.
    • Ability to listen to and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Professional, courteous, and tactful under pressure
    Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
