    Description

    Your Role: In this position, you will be in charge of developing, implementing, tracking, and measuring occupational health programs with the goal of preventing injuries and promoting employee wellness. This proactive approach is essential to help cut down costs related to injuries.

    • Conduct pain consultations and safe work observations with current employees.
    • Educate employees on work postures, body mechanics, strength and conditioning to minimize injury risks.
    • Perform physical ability testing on applicants post job-offer.
    • Create educational materials to support injury prevention and healthy lifestyle strategies.
    • Provide wellness training and services at driver meetings.
    • Offer telephonic injury management support to distribution centers.
    • Be available for after-hour calls to assist with employee injuries.
    • Implement lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in the role.

    Role Specifics:

    • Schedule – Includes 2 evening shifts per week and occasional weekend hours.
    • Travel – Occasional overnight trips (3-5 times per year) for business purposes or professional development seminars and meetings. Must be able to travel independently by car, plane, or train as required.

    We Need You To Have:

    • Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or athletic training.
    • Ability to solve complex issues and make independent decisions.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.

    We'd Like You To Have:

    • Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC).
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to learning.
    • High personal motivation for continuous learning.
