    Open until filledBloomfield School Food Service is looking for substitute cafeteria workers.

    Individuals seeking these postions will be paid an hourly rate without benefits and must be available on an as needed basis.

    Applications will continue to be accepted from qualified candidates for the position of Substitute Worker (hours vary each week) at various Bloomfield Schools.

    Qualifications

    And Duties :

    High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    :
    In-service training as required.
    :
    Knowledge of foods and nutrition.
    :
    Methods and techniques of quality food cookery.
    :
    Sanitation & HACCP procedures.
    :
    Operation and care of institutional equipment.
    :
    Ability to follow oral and written instructions as well as adhere to department policies and procedures.
    :
    Knowledge of computer operations and point of sale system is preferred.
    :
    Ability to work with figures and keep all records as directed.
    :
    Must be free from communicable diseases and must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to withstand temperatures from 10* to 40* for up to 30 minutes.

    Must have the stamina necessary for the efficient performance of duties and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
