    ROLE:

    Responsible for achieving the company's overall warehouse performance results/goals by communicating job/performance expectations, monitoring production planning inventory, coaching, employee evaluations, discipline, champion/support continuous improvement and enforce all company policies and procedures.


    HOURS:
    Full-time, Monday-Friday


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    Supervise entire shop floor personnel, shop door pullers, production scheduler and bill of material analyst.
    Manage shop/production labor and expense cost to company budget.
    Able to recognize and prioritize the workload and flow as necessary.
    Oversee and champion our continuous improvement initiative as it pertains to the door shop.
    Develop and improve warehouse processes and procedures.
    Oversee and champion our Company's Safety Program as it pertains to the door shop.
    Understands and follows all ADP safety and personnel policies. Performs role in a manner that is safe for employees and avoids damage to materials and equipment. Maintains a clean and safe work area.
    Oversee machine maintenance programs to ensure operator maintenance is done regularly to keep machines in optimal running condition.
    Collaborate with other branches Shop/Production Supervisors to establish and maintain uniform production standards for KPI metrics and Production Scheduling.
    Provide daily employee coaching, annual employee reviews and employee discipline as needed to maintain positive employee morale.
    Effectively communicates and escalates issues to managers and recommends potential solutions.
    Provide support/input to Director of Operations with larger Company Initiatives/Projects (i.e. machinery purchases, shop layout, employee headcount etc.)
    Other administrative or production duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.


    CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
    Three (3) plus years Leadership/Supervision experience including personal responsibility for hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
    Three (3) plus years Manufacturing/Production experience
    College degree and/or equivalent job experience in a leadership role.
    Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
    Familiarity with the millwork industry or the building industry is preferred.
    Must be able to communicate concisely and clearly in both written and verbal exchanges.
    Significant experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel software is a must.
    Experience operating a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other equipment.
    Strong organizational, written, communication, and math skills.
    Capable of lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly and occasionally up to 70lbs. Participate in team lifts of objects 70lb - 150lbs. Able to maneuver items up to 150lbs.
    Must be able to occasionally use a ladder for pulling/stocking materials as necessary.
    Constantly operates a computer and other office machines.
