This position manages the overall operation and administration of all vehicle inspections while providing support to Check-In Imaging Post Sale Inspections and Arbitration functions Dealer Commercial & Specialty Key responsibilities include scheduling staffing to match vehicle volume facilitating training to ensure accurate high-quality vehicle condition data and ensuring condition reports are delivered on time The Inspections Supervisor oversees inspection operations for dealer commercial and specialty vehicles This role manages staffing scheduling training quality assurance performance management and supports Post Sale Inspections and Arbitration teams to maintain operational excellence and exceed client expectations The Supervisor partners with cross-functional teams to uphold Manheim standards SLAs safety requirements Manage day-to-day inspection operations coordinate workflow with Check-In Imaging Post Sale Inspectionsand Arbitration teams Ensure accurate timely recording of vehicle condition in Smart Inspect AS400 other systems Schedule inspectors support staff based on vehicle volume operational flow Hire train coach develop inspection imaging check-in Post Sale Inspections Arbitration staff Deliver skill-based training including Inspector Certification Program ICP promote advancement certification levels Train utilize tools Smart Inspet Manheim In-House & Mobile Inspection T1 CR MIC FIT Console OCC Image Audit Dashboards related applications Oversee documentation of vehicle condition CR data entry system updates Conduct quarterly mid-year year-performance reviews ongoing coaching ensure performance standards met Monitor KPIs productivity utilization initiate strategies workflow improvements Perform physical quality audits accordance Manheim QA Program Review arbitration outcomes Post Sale Inspctions results CR discrepancies identify needs Resolve dealerclient concerns related inspections Post Sale Inspictions Arbitrations conditions reports Monitor analyze Tableau dashboards including Safety Cycle Time arbitrations Vehicle Information Dashboards Inspector Compensation Images Secure Productivity Utilization Training Undercarriage Quality Audit Policy Loss Claim Enforce company policies government regulations NAAA policy standards Lead example maintain respectful inclusive work environment Requisition materials equipment oversee maintenance safety compliance Support model Safety Excellence Partner support functions Finance HR Recon MFS Safety Security Sales optimize operations Other duties assigned by management Work Conditions Frequent outdoor exposure moderate noise levels Must stand walk reach talk hear regularly Requires visual acuity color depth perception close distance focus May frequently stoop kneel crouch bend squat climb Requirements High School Diploma GED Experience automotive auction preferred Supervisory lead or management role Valid drivers license ability operate vehicles standard automatic transmissions Strong leadership communication organizational skills Basic computer proficiency comfort using operational tools dashboards Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree related field years experience equivalent combination education experience Knowledge DMV laws transportation regulations CR best practices Certification through IC program Bilingual multilingual skills plus Benefits Flexible paid vacation holidays wellness time Health dental vision insurance 401k retirement plan employer match Paid leave family military duty jury service bereavement volunteering Career development opportunities tuition reimbursement USD
