    Description

    Insight Global is looking for a full time/direct-hire Tax Accountant in Tampa, FL (Westshore area), preferably already holding an active CPA.

    Job Summary & Responsibilities:

    Will participate in the firms offerings to closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals a full range of professional services including Accounting, Tax Preparation & Planning, Business Consulting, and Assurance. In addition to offering exceptional tax and financial advice, we're deeply committed to building strong, long-standing relationships with our clients. Think of us as your strategic partner, vested in your ongoing success.

    As a CPA, the tax accountant will work with clients to produce tax return documents that follow laws and regulations. They will prepare and review all tax documents and filings for individuals, corporations, gifts, etc. Below are the filings that the CPA will be responsible for in order from most to least:

    • Form 1040
    • Form 1120S
    • Form 1065
    • Form 1041
    • Form 1120
    • Form 709
    • Form 990
    • Form 706

    Minimum Requirements:

    • CPA License required (CPA in progress with close timeline to testing can be considered)
    • Bachelors Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or similar
    • Minimum 2 years of tax experience, specifically reviewing tax returns
    • Public Accounting experience is necessary- Experience filing tax returns for individual returns, corporate partnerships, and some trusts
    • Experience filing the listed forms: Form 1040, Form 1120S, Form 1065, Form 1041, Form 1120, Form 709, Form 990, Form 706
    • Quickbooks experience is preferred
    • Ultratax experience is preferred
