Job summary
The City of Leeds Public Works Assistant Director assists in directing the overall operation of the city's Public Works Department.Responsibilities
- Performs financial functions such as reviewing and approving expenditures,
- Prepares monitors and administers departmental or organizational budget by reviewing spending trends expenditure reports analyzing financial data ensuring expenditures are within annual budgetary limits
- Provides customer service internally externally via phone email or face to face interaction
- Procures manages inventory i.e supplies equipment to ensure products services are available to meet operational needs each department
- Initiates plans executes monitors work involved completion projects
- Supervises staff assigning distributing work directing staff their duties monitoring progress feedback training time attendance leave processes submission payroll information/li>
