    Purpose of the Job

    As a critical member of our sales team, the Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation of the software/hardware sales process. Working with the Territory Sales team, the Sales Engineer is the key technical advisor for all Pre-sales activity within a designated territory. We are looking for top security talent at a national level right now as we are constantly expanding.

    Key Accountabilities

    1. Analyze customer requirements to recommend the best i-PRO solution. This includes but is not limited to product recommendations, high-level solution design, and defining/creating scopes of work for detailed design specification, implementation, and life-cycle management.
    2. Assist in pre-sales meetings with on-site technical assistance across verticals as required, including software and hardware demonstrations/presentations.
    3. Work closely with the territory sales team in other aspects to help drive the i-PRO business.
    4. Assist customers with preparation of RFP/RFI/RFQ documents. Review and contribute response content for RFP/RFI/RFQ process.
    5. Coordinate work effort across multiple departments and ensure that expectations and performance goals are met promptly and professionally.
    6. Engage Technical Support or Professional Services on behalf of end users for third-party products and security solutions product lines as needed.
    7. Observe changing market requirements, gather customer/partner requests, share and advocate to product, marketing, training, and other teams to improve the i-PRO solution.

    Qualifications: Education and Experience

    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technology field is required
    • 2-4 years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource, sales engineering, or similar technical role required
    • Experience with computer hardware configuration and troubleshooting

    • Strong knowledge and understanding of physical security, video surveillance, and technology markets

    • Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

    • Experience with computer hardware configuration and troubleshooting

    Other Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Vehicle and Air Travel when required for site visits
    • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times
