Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Perimeter Patrol in Centennial, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and observed concerns, document activity clearly, and communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to facility personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities.

Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and coordinating with site management and/or public responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout industrial buildings, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.

Complete security-related reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate status updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

Have 1+ year armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

Customer service experience preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
