SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Team Member is responsible for monitoring the audits done in the slicing room.
• Team Member will conduct timely checks for metal detection, collect samples, label verification and other varying audits as needed within the Slicing Department as deemed necessary by management.
• Must have good communication and organizational skills to ensure the process is followed in compliance with product processing procedures and regulations.
• All Team Members are to follow all Safety and Food Safety Procedures.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 10 pounds.
• The Team Member will push/pull loaded bins with hand jack.
• The Team Member will work in a cold and damp or dry environment.
• The Team Member will perform repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing and walking.
