    Description
    Experience & Requirements
    • Must have graduated from medical school and completed a psychiatric residency.
    • Licensed to practice in the state and certified by the Office of Mental Health for inpatient psychiatric services. DEA number required.

    A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are mandatory.

    Responsibilities

    As a Psychiatrist at YesCare, your responsibilities include:

    • Perform onsite psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for referred inmates.
    • Provide psychiatric services for inpatients, assessment, staffing treatment planning, and regular review.
    • Act as a regular psychiatrist for the Mental Health Unit, participating in treatment programming and planning.
    • Offer medication management and individual/group therapy.
    • Approve admissions and discharges, treatment plans, and provide in-service education.
    • Available on-call for the Mental Health Unit's needs and participate in the Treatment Audit Committee.
