- Report to Waltonen Design Leader
- Complete part drawings in NX including the creation of detailed drawings
- Establish tool design for new products and improvements to parts
- Complete tool design calculations within predefined design standards
- Make drawing revisions to reflect how tools have been modified
- Exposure to CAD Software
- Intermediate mechanical drafting skills
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with superiors, peers, and subordinates
- Individual time management skills
- Ability to work a full-time schedule including overtime hours as needed
- Mechanical aptitude
- Associate's degree in Product Development, Product Design, or a related degree
- Previous tooling detail or layout experience using Unigraphics NX
- Familiarity with Teamcenter is a plus
- Understanding of materials and their usage and various manufacturing operations and processes
