    Exciting Opportunity for a Speech Pathologist

    Job Description:

    • Join a dynamic team as a Speech Pathologist, specializing in adult neuro, cognitive, and dysphagia patients.
    • Work five days a week with an 8hour daily schedule, providing essential care to help restore patients to optimal independence and function.
    • Collaborate closely with clients and their families in therapeutic planning and goalsetting to enhance their communication and swallowing abilities.
    • Utilize your skills in diagnostic evaluations and treatment programs, while ensuring timely documentation, including case histories, evaluation reports, treatment plans, and progress notes.
    • Participate in interdepartmental communication systems to achieve organizational goals.
    • Enjoy productive and efficient service delivery through coordinated scheduling.
    • Engage in medical chart peer reviews and case records reviews as necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
    • Skills:
    • Basic computer knowledge.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience:
    • Open to new graduates and those with any level of experience in speech therapy.
    • Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
    • Valid SLP License in the state of TX; SLP Intern license accepted if requirements are met.
    • Full license with American Speech and Hearing Association within one year of hire.
    • BLS certification required (AHA certification).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in an outpatient environment.
    • Certifications in VitalStim and LSVT.
    • Familiarity with EPIC for documentation.
