An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer for their Cleveland team

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis, design and documentation of fire suppression, fire alarm and smoke control systems
  
• Supervise staff
  
• Develop strategies, alternative solutions/design approaches
  
• Conduct building/fire code studies and life safety evaluations
  
• Prepare design deliverables for SD, DD, CD level documents
  
• During bid phase, meet with contractors to review design details
  
• Assist with construction administrative duties to aid in business development (RFI response/accurate review of submittals)
  
• Ensure projects meet QA/QC standards
  
• Attend project meeting (clients, local jurisdiction, other disciplines)
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from and ABET-accredited program
  
• NICET level certification in fire suppression and/or fire alarm systems in lieu of degree
  
• 10+ years of project team and client management experience
  
• Consulting engineering experience with public and private sector clients
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
