- Choose and modify the appropriate occupational therapy treatment model, method, and approach according to each specific case to guide the intervention process
- Implement interventions to enhance safety and performance in daily activities and instrumental daily tasks
- Educate clients on new task approaches and strategies for breaking down activities into manageable steps
- Evaluate the client's living environment and provide recommendations for modifications in line with their requirements and capabilities
- Suggest adaptive equipment and offer training on its usage
- Provide guidance and education to family members and caregivers
- Monitor, record, and report on the progress of both short-term and long-term treatment objectives
- Keep track of data and document the procedures undertaken
- Regularly check in with clients to ensure their well-being
- Demonstrated occupational therapy experience
- Thorough understanding of the principles and methodologies of occupational therapy
- Hands-on familiarity with computer applications and creative tools
- Knowledge of ADLs evaluation tools such as the Katz ADL scale and Lawton IADL scale
- Ability to handle patients with varying personalities
- Up-to-date knowledge of treatment approaches within the field and a commitment to continuous professional development
- Exemplary professional conduct
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
- Valid occupational therapy practice license
