    Arizona-based Universal Background Screening is a leading nationwide provider of background screening and drug testing services to business clients. We are ranked as one of the top companies in our field, and our Public Records group strives to provide service excellence to our clients. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Public Records Courts Specialist to join our growing team.

    Summary: This position is responsible for searching and providing accurate criminal and civil court record information to our clients.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform record research through various court access systems
    • Review and analyze court data, identifying key information, and entering it into a common format
    • Contact clerk of court and other agencies via telephone as needed to obtain and/or confirm case information
    • Review your own work and that of Court Records team members to assure accuracy in search criteria and data entry
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Prior industry experience or another related field is preferred
    • Excellent written communication skills, especially spelling and grammar
    • Demonstrated ability to complete sequential tasks in an efficient and accurate manner
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with a fluctuating workload
    • Work independently and/or in a team environment as needed
    • Data entry/word processing skills and a high degree of comfort navigating the internet and using web-based applications
    • Typing/keyboarding skills of at least 35 words/minute
    • Knowledge of criminal court processes and terminology will be an asset to this position

    This position is full-time and onsite Monday through Friday.

    Must be available for an in-person interview. Fluent English, both written and verbal, is required. Selected candidates will be required to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
