    Job Purpose:

    The Cloud Administrator's role works for provisioning, maintaining, and improving Managed Health Care Associates functionality of our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure while working alongside cloud engineers and other IT staff to ensure the continued availability of critical systems and applications.The incumbent will be responsible for support and management of multiple operating systems and associated cloud infrastructure platforms, as well as troubleshooting and support for Azure backup and recovery, hardware and OS patching, networking and system monitoring technologies.The cloud administrator will act as an escalation point to the MHA Service Desk to resolve incidents and requests that cannot be remediated by the level one team.This role requires comprehensive knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot technologies in the Microsoft Azure public cloud including virtualization, SaaS & PaaS services, network security groups, load-balancing, resource groups, administrative work, and security while partnering with the rest of the MHA IT Team in all cloud initiatives and projects.The incumbent in this role will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. The Cloud Administrator provides guidance and expertise to the IT Leadership team on topics including the development of best practices in a variety of areas across the enterprise as required.Solve problems through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents. The individual in this role is highly proficient within discipline and contributes to organizational objectives.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Comfortable creating innovative business solutions based on your Azure Cloud networking and administration experience.
    • Participate in the design and implementation of secure operational solutions and services across the business and IT support areas.
    • Support migration and deployment of applications to Azure Cloud environment
    • Implementation and operations of operational capabilities and tooling (Azure native first) required for ongoing operations in the areas of:
      • Monitoring
      • Alerting
      • Security Controls
      • Backups/Restore
      • Disaster Recovery
    • Develop and maintain software solutions/scripts to support automation of cloud configuration and administration.
    • Implement cloud infrastructure solution offerings based on public cloud, private cloud, hybrid client environments, and multi-cloud environments.
    • Support security audits, accreditation, and certification processes for cloud-based system architectures
    • Build, maintain and monitor comprehensive alerting and monitoring tools to maintain awareness of, and expedite troubleshooting of infrastructure related issues in Azure environments.
    • Advise on best practices for the implementation of Cloud components, tools, dashboards, and automation.
    • Refining and ensuring team members follow a rigorous server patching/vulnerability remediation process.
    • Recommend and implement cloud computing environment resource cost management based on capacity management.
    • Willingness to provide after-hours support on a rotating schedule.
    Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:
    • MCSA Training or equivalent in the Server and Cloud Administration Learning Path
    • Knowledge of production readiness and operation capabilities using tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel, Azure Automation, Azure Backup, Azure Security Center, etc.
    • Competencies with IaaS and PaaS services such as VMs, Azure Service Environment ASE, Azure Kubernetes Service AKS, Spring Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.
    • Clear understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers, and Firewalls in Azure. Knowledgeable in general infrastructure technology and understand public and private cloud concepts such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Desktop as a Service (DaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
    • Experience with automation to Infrastructure
    • Experience with the Cloud, Windows/SQL Server, PowerShell scripting, and virtualization
    • Experience developing, deploying, configuring, and managing cloud-based systems supporting enterprise web-based applications.
    • Ability to manage Azure subscriptions and resources, implement and manage storage, deploy, and manage virtual machines, PaaS services, configure and manage virtual networks, and manage identities.

    • Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components (computer, storage, network, security, data, and applications) to deliver end-to-end cloud designs and implementations.
    • Detailed understanding of either Windows operating systems.
    • Experience securely connecting public cloud resources with on-premises resources.
    • Proven ability to develop cloud operating frameworks and documentation.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
