    Position Summary:
    The Sr.

    Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the company by implementing process improvements and revisions on a project-by-project basis.

    The Sr.

    Manufacturing Engineer will support the operations department with production improvements and evaluate manufacturing processes with the goal of continuous improvement.


    Duties:
    Responsible for support of production Maintain and improve current processes to improve quality and efficiency.
    Participate in process development.
    Work with internal/external teams.

    Project management, time studies, resource allocation, feasibility studiesUse of Cad program to assist with any design related or floor changes.

    Will assist with Quality department with root cause analysis and implementing countermeasures.

    Support developing documentation (Flow, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions)75% floor, 25% office/adminCreate process to review technology and mechanical changes for a repeatable, stable, and reliable process.

    Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements.
    Research, design, modify and test manufacturing methods and equipment. KnowledgeKnowledge of lean manufacturing processes and procedures. Knowledge of product packaging materials, methods, and instructions.

    Knowledge of sheet metal properties Knowledge of fiberoptic bed lasers, tower lasers, and 3d lasers Knowledge of fabrication and "job shop" work.

    Knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
    Skills / AbilitiesAble to manage projects from start to finish.
    Able to lead team members on projects to achieve a desired outcome. Skilled with design, development, execution, and implementation of capital projects. Able to design testing methods to assure product and process quality.
    Skilled at prototyping and designing new parts / products. Have a general understanding of CNC and PLC programming on different types of fabrication machines. Able to collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends. Education / RequirementsBachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering disciple10+ Years of experience with new product launches and/or manufacturing engineering (This person could be in operations now, and was in a mfg. engineering role)Project management, continuous improvement experience/methodologiesAbility to work with multiple teams, both internal and externalPPAP, APQP experiencePhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to stand; walk; sit; use his/her hands, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, talk or hear. The team member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Hearing capacity required to maximize ability to understand all verbal communication and react accordingly. Salary Description $100k - $120k annually
