    The Sasha Bruce Therapeutic Group Home is one of Sasha Bruce's newest programs serving children and youth ages 13-21 from foster care who present with an Axis 1 diagnosis.

    The program has a high level of structure, supervision, behavior

    management/modification,

    and clinical intervention due to the nature of the emotional and behavioral conditions.
    Job Summary

    :


    Under the supervision of the Chief of Programs, the Program Manager of the Sasha Bruce Allen House is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program.

    This includes compliance with all grants and contractual agreements, personnel, program implementation, building maintenance, program finances, administrative systems and daily reporting.

    The Program Manager services as a liaison to SBY's administrative staff, other SBY programs and the community at large.
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in the human services field or a degree in business/public administration or related field with a minimum of 4 years' supervisory experience required; Master's Degree preferred in a youth program setting;
    Experience working with at-risk youth or the homeless population in a residential facility;
    Previous administrative, clinical and supervisory experiences strongly preferred;
    Must possess strong communication and organizational skills; and,
    Reporting to the Chief of Programs, this is a full-time, exempt level position.

    Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; pass the required DC clearances (and other states as applicable); and provide any additional information regarding previous records, if necessary.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Provide daily oversight for all aspects of the residential program for youth at the Therapeutic Group Home;
    Ensure that the highest quality crisis intervention, life skills, education, counseling, and housing services are provided to all clients;
    Work with staff to develop systems to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes and services;

    Ensure that all documentation, including case files, client statistics, and data entry, are accurate, up to date, and in compliance with grant and contract requirements; Ensure that all documentation, including program activity logs and program progress reports are accurate and up to date.

    Manage program according to grant/contract specifications;
    Assist in the development and maintenance of administrative systems to facilitate and enhance the delivery of services;
    Execute personnel actions, including hiring, evaluating, and separating employees as appropriate;
    Within the framework of SBY's clinical model, provide direct supervision to all staff who interact with clients through one-on-one supervision, staff meetings and live-supervision sessions;
    Plan and facilitate regular staff meetings;
    Participate in activities related to compliance with and renewal of annual license, including ongoing monitoring of various requirements;
    Ensure proper maintenance of all clinical, administrative, and financial records;
    Assist in the development and implementation of Continuous Quality Assurance activities;
    Initiate and monitor all needed repairs to the physical plant, and ensure regular upkeep of the property;
    Participate in regular supervision with consultants, trainings, and conferences;
    Serve as program liaison to internal and external stakeholders;
    Participate in managers meetings and other agency-wide meetings/functions as assigned;
    Perform other duties as assigned and,
    Must have a commitment to ending youth homelessness, racial equity, inclusion, and issues central to Sasha Bruce Youthwork's mission.
